Nonprofit Leadership: A training for VT Nonprofit Child Care Program Leaders for Executive Directors (online, real-time training)

This Northern Lights-approved online/real time training will be geared toward those in an executive director role. The presentation will be led Dr. Jane A. Van Buren, founding director of Noonmark Services, a nationally and internationally recognized resource for board development, training, and support.

Discussion will include an overview of the distinctions of a non-profit business in VT, and the roles and responsibilities of the Executive Director of a non-profit child care business. We'll look at board vs. staff functions, vision, values and mission of a successful non-profit child care program. Participants will leave the series with resources and identified next steps to successful operation of a viable non-profit child care business.
