Introduction to ASQ:SE-2 (Ages and Stages Questionnaire Social-Emotional) (online real-time training)

During this 3-hour, online/real-time training, participants will learn to use the ASQ:SE-2 tool to accurately identify children’s social-emotional health. This session complements the ASQ-3 and focuses on identifying risk factors and screening for behaviors, to address and support concerns at an early stage. Participants will review the benefits of developmental screening, describe features of the ASQ:SE-2, learn to accurately score questionnaires, learn to describe and interpret cutoff scores, review sensitive communication of screening results with families, strategize how to engage parents in the process and discuss appropriate follow-up and referrals.
